Chris Montagnino

In addition to her current role as CEO of Educators Serving Educators, Chris is the Vice President for Extended Education at Excelsior College. Excelsior College’s Extended Education Division is referred to as the innovation incubator for the college. The Extended Education portfolio includes: Center for Professional Development, Center for Educational Measurement, Educators Serving Educators, the Corporate and Academic Partnership team, and Hudson Whitman Publishing Press. Chris’ role at Excelsior College includes serving on the Brand Strategy, Workforce Development, Diversification & Growth, and Executive Leadership Committees.

Beyond her responsibilities at Excelsior College, Chris has held many active roles in the community. She currently serves on the board for the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown, NY. Chris served as an Executive Board Member with the Greater Madison Urban League, State Board Member with the Wisconsin Planned Parenthood, and Board Member with the Dayton, OH Urban League. Chris is also a member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Prior to joining Excelsior College, Chris served as Regional Vice President for Herzing University. In addition to this role, Chris served as President of Herzing University’s flagship campus in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris also spent 15 years with the University of Phoenix. She served as Director of Enrollment for the Little Rock and Boston Campuses, and Campus Director for the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky Campuses.

Chris is a faculty member, teaching online general education courses in political science, gender studies, and race. She is currently working on her dissertation toward fulfillment of her Doctorate in Management. Chris earned a MA in Political Science and a MA in Organizational Management. She also has a BA in Political Science.
